A pastel drawing floated with a black under mat to emphasize
the artwork. A black 8-ply outer floating mat is used to
give it dimension. The deep frame gives even more depth.

Hand painted black bamboo moulding was used for this Chinese silk print.
The elongated frame is used to conform to the Chinese scroll
style. Complimentary mat colors were used to bring out the
color in the artwork.
The silk is float mounted over a reddish under-mat. The outer mats are black core and also floated to give the piece depth. |

This black and white panoramic view of Venice displays
sensational lighting features as the gondola drifts along.
A single black mat frames famous Italian landmark with a
triple chris-crossing V-groove accenting the strong parallel
lines of the Italian columns. A thin grayish-black rope
pattern frame was used to accent the curves of the piece,
specifically the inner balcony columns. The mat was cut
to 5” give extra weight around the piece giving it
ample border to extend the exquisite features. |
This "Pair of Pears" artwork displays a unique
split mat. Notice how the colors of the mats enhance the
pears. The pears are floating in the cutout window to create
depth. The frame is a simple black selected so that it does
not distract from the detail of the art.

This frame is perfect for this abstract painting*. The
mat, fillet (small frame directly around the artwork) and
frame moulding was chosen to enhance the colors of the artwork.
The fillet adds a rich look and draws the viewers eye into
the painting.
